Information portals

The main tool of communication for professionals in culture across all disciplines. It publishes news on grant calls, job and collaboration offers, interesting events such as conferences, new publications, and cultural and political news. Other Culturnet features include a directory of Czech cultural entities and portals, a database of professional literature on cultural policy and management, and a database of projects presenting sources of inspiration for the preparation of international projects in particular.

SoundCzech connects music professionals with the international scene. This portal provides information in Czech and English.

PerformCzech connects theatre, dance and new circus professionals with the international scene. This portal provides information in Czech and English.

Residency stays are intended mainly (but not only) for fine artists. The places of residency stays are located all over the world and change from time to time. In organising residency stays abroad, NIK collaborates mainly with Czech Centres. It also organises residency stays of foreign artists in the Czech Republic, mostly in cooperation with MeetFactory and the Centre for Contemporary Art Futura.

On the Move (OTM) is a cultural mobility information network with more than 30 member-organisations in Europe and elsewhere.  The network facilitates international cultural mobility and provides detailed information (open calls, events, political news, studies, etc.) on its website.  OTM compiles guidelines and studies on mobility issues, organises workshops and trainings for its members, and serves as a contact point for the European Commission.

Touring Artists is a service that provides information and free advice to artists and cultural professionals in an international context related to Germany. The Information Center for Cultural Mobility in Slovenia (Motovila), which is part of the On the Move network and operates as a Mobility Information Point (MIP). International Association of Art (IAA) Europe is a network of about 40 member-organisations of fine artists in Europe. It aims at supporting international artistic exchange and discussions on relevant issues related to working conditions, social security systems, copyright etc.

The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) is a network of arts councils and ministries of culture, with member organisations in more than 80 countries. It provides services, information and sources related to various topics to member organisations and their staff.

The International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts, IETM, is a network of more than 500 organisations and individuals working in contemporary performing arts worldwide, whether in theatre, dance, circus, interdisciplinary live art forms or new media. The Mutual Information System on Social Protection, MISSOC, promotes exchange of information on social protection among the EU Member States. NEMO is a network of national museum organisations representing museums of the member states of the Council of Europe. Pearle* is a European federation associating about 7,000 organisations within the performing arts and music sector across Europe. The Sculpture Network is a European platform for three-dimensional art. Creative Europe Desks are national contact points for the EU CREATIVE EUROPE cultural programme. European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies focuses on intensive interconnection of professionals in culture and inter-disciplinary cooperation. It supports discourses on arts and instruments of cultural policy.

EUNIC is a network of European national institutes of culture. The network represents common interests towards the EU institutions and, as a learning network, provides support to its members.

SOLVIT can help in cases where public authorities breach EU rights of a citizen or a business in another EU country. Frequent issues include recognition of professional qualification, VAT refunds, visas and residence rights.
