This guide, updated by the Arts and Theatre Institute thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, is dedicated to the funding opportunities for international cultural exchange between the Czech Republic and the world and it is based on the two respective editions from 2011 and 2018.

While the EU has some shared rules, there are no specific laws tailored to artists. In the first instance, and in line with the approach of this series of cookbooks, the focus of this publication is on the European rules related to third-country nationals working (temporarily) in the EU.
