The "Good Job" Newsletter

When was the last time you heard someone say, “Good job!”? Do you appreciate your own work—and do the people you work with appreciate it, too? What does “good job” actually mean, and what does it look like in everyday cultural practice?

The cultural sector faces a wide range of pressures today. The “Good Job” Newsletter was created as a space to help navigate these complex conditions.

It offers information, context, and insights into working in the cultural sector—from legislation and funding to international mobility and issues of fair practices. In addition to current events, it shares experiences from the field and highlights topics that deserve long-term attention. It focuses primarily on freelance professionals but is intended for anyone who works in the cultural sector, makes decisions about it, or needs to understand its working conditions.

The newsletter is published as an irregular periodical by the InfoPoint NIK team in collaboration with industry associations and organizations involved in mapping fair practices in the cultural sector.

We publish the newsletter in Czech.
